Rosemary Tracy Woods is the Executive Director and Chief Curator of Art for the Soul Gallery. For over fifteen years, Tracy has been bringing renowned artists such as Frank Frazier, Larry “Poncho” Brown and Charles Bibbs to Western MA and continues to do so. Her area of expertise is contemporary African-American artists and the art of the Harlem Renaissance. Her continued work with artists of all abilities earned her a Massachusetts House of Representatives citation for “exemplary dedication and outstanding contributions to community service and diligent efforts to promote multicultural understandings and inclusively through the arts." In 2010, Tracy was awarded the Unsung Heroine Award from the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. She also received a special recognition from former Governor Deval Patrick for her work with the arts.
